Gold Mount was established in Sydney, Australia, in
1993, with the mission to produce and distribute quality Australian wines for
domestic and international markets.
Our approach is to harness the unique characteristics
of Australian wine regions and make available their quality wines for broader
enjoyment in an affordable manner. In 2006, Gold Mount established its presence
in China through Guangzhou Ocean Trade Co. Ltd., to promote our Australian wines
in China market. Today, Gold Mount wines are available across China, covering:
Guangdong province, Fujian province, Suzhou, Shanghai, Qingdao, Beijing, and
Shenyang, with rapidly growing demand.
Sourced from renowned vineyards in New South Wales’
Hunter Valley, Mudgee, and Orange regions; South Australia’s Barossa Valley; and
Western Australia’s Margaret River, Gold Mount offers a montage of exquisite
Australian wine experience through its wide range of red, white, and dessert
wines. Over the years, Gold Mount has been selecting wines that are of world
class quality and that represent the outstanding wine-making endeavour to truly
showcase the essence of Australia. Each wine selected produces an outstanding
expression of its unique variety, its distinguished boutique vineyard and its
wine maker.
Complemented by our other ranges of Kangaroo Hills,
Noble Vine and Venus wines, there is a Gold Mount wine to accompany every
occasion.
- Classic White
- This Classic White is a superb blend of Barossa Valley chardonnay and
Hunter Valley Semillon resulting in a classic pleasant, easy drinking style
of wine with fresh citrus and tropical melon aromas. The palate is light and
lively with a clean zesty finish. Well suited to be enjoyed with seafood or
chicken dishes, or simply on its own.
- Classic Red

This Classic Red was made by our gold medalist winemaker from premium
grapes of the well regarded Wine Region of Mudgee, an area long associated
with great red wines. The tannins, oak and fruit are well integrated,
creating a well balanced, approachable light red wine with a bouquet full of
voluminous fruity plum and berry notes on the nose, which follow through
onto the palate. This wine makes a great accompaniment to any red meat dish.
It is made for immediate consumption, yet will continue to develop over the
next four to six years.
- 2008 Shiraz

This wine is a fine example of Premium Australian Shiraz. Deep red in
colour this wine is well rounded with outstanding plum characters with
aromas of ripe blackberry and mulberry. With a hint of oak it is well
proportioned and balanced well with subtle tannin which gives the wine the
classic spicy Shiraz finish for which the wine is famous. Enjoy this
wonderful Australian wine on its own or with your favourite red meat dish.
- 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon

A wonderful wine, deep crimson red in colour, this Premium Australian
Cabernet Sauvignon has a lively and distinct varietal bouquet consisting of
plum and cherry aromas. With a mid palate adding a hint of vanillan oak the
rich and intense flavours develop into a well structured finish. The
combination of chocolate and mulberry characters blend beautifully into the
well defined tannin, which leaves you with a velvety, lingering finish.
- 2008 Sweet Verdelho
- This dessert style white wine is created from South Eastern Australia
Verdelho grapes left on the vine to ripen for a longer period of time
resulting in wine with a glorious golden honey colour and a highly floral
perfumed aroma reminiscent of honeysuckle. The mouth feel is luscious,
filled with flavours of plump sweet apricot. a truly indulging way to finish
a meal.
- 2005 Shiraz
- This Shiraz is wonderfully fragrant, with ripe succulent, beautifully
proportioned with no excess of oak and tannin. Despite fairly high alcohol,
it’s lovely, more–than–one–glass drink and perfectly matches with Asian
cuisine, coast pork or lamb.
- 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
- This 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is exceptional from the region of South
Eastern Australia. It’s rich, elegant and spicy with ripe blackberry
seamlessly integrated with fine vanilla oak and framed by silky tannins.
Beautifully balanced and focused. Great length.
- Noble Red 88
- This wine is marvelously elegant. Delicious juicy mid – palate, velvety
texture, firm and lingering in the mouth with focused flavours and tidy
tannins. Its beautifully ripe flavours with berry fruits dominating combines
with well balanced vanilla oak stand combined with well balanced vanilla oak
stand out from the crowd. An eye opener.
- 2008 Shiraz Cabernet
- This Cabernet Shiraz has a deep purple hue. Vibrant blackcurrant aromas
from the Cabernet combine perfectly with the rich plum and cherry fruit
notes from the Shiraz. This is a medium bodied wine displaying volumes of
upfront fruit. The spicy oak underlying the fruit combines with soft mouth
filling tannin resulting in a generous easy drinking wine full of flavour.
- 2008 Cabernet Merlot
- Deep red with purple hues, the colour of this wine gives the warning of
the ripe opulent flavours on the nose and palate. Cassis and plums with some
spicy oak are apparent on the nose and the rich ripe flavours of fully
mature grapes come through on the palate.

Bright carmine bruised blackberries in a delicate bouquet of
violets and mocca chocolate announce a finely tuned stylish palate doused in
wild berry fruits, hints of cedar and very finely integrated French oak
tannins. This Cabernet Sauvignon has the elegance and balance to please the
most discerning palate.
- Venus

Ruby in colour, the fine bouquet of savoury blackberries and dark
chocolate complement the hints of fine French oak from extended gentle
maturation in tight grained barrels. Gentle wild berries and hints of
vanilla suffuse the textured and lovely fruit framed palate for your
enjoyment.
